After singing the national anthem last year at the Democratic National Convention for the then presidential candidate Barack Obama, Jennifer returned to the stage this week to perform for the now president Barack Obama. As a guest at the Democratic National Committee's fundraiser at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, J-Hud joined a host of other stars in Obama's first fundraising swing through Hollywood since taking office. Due to strain found on her vocal chords, Jennifer Hudson has been instructed by her doctor to go on vocal rest. The following dates have been rescheduled:
**Update. Dallas which was originally rescheduled for 5/16 will now be happening on 5/21.**
Houston - Sunday, May 17th.
Oakland - Tuesday, May 19th
Dallas - Thursday, May 21st.
The Baltimore, MD show has been canceled and a new date for Phoenix will be announced shortly. Existing tickets for the original dates will be honored for this new date.
